Photo Explorer: A Photography Expedition to Antarctica
Whether you are a budding photographer, a professional photographer or just have an interest in being able to capture beautiful photos of your adventure in Antarctica, the 2023 Photo Explorer itinerary suits people of all abilities and experiences. While there will be the opportunity to rub shoulders with seven world-class photographers, the Antarctic itself will always steal the show.
On every voyage we do, there is a dedicated photography coach at your disposal. We find that having them as part of our team is incredibly valuable to our guests as they can offer tips and advice on how to capture the natural beauty of the unique landscapes in Antarctica and all the fantastic creatures that inhabit it. There can be unusual light and weather conditions to grapple with, and we feel that having a photography expert onboard provides vital guidance to guests of all skill sets.
On the Photo Explorer itinerary departing January 13th, 2023, guests will be spoiled by not 1 but SEVEN pro photographers, each with their specialties and expertise. Guests on this voyage will rub shoulders with the team but also shoot with them in the field, enjoy informal chats in the bar, or be able to attend formal presentations in our cozy conference room. From wildlife to landscapes, portraiture to nature, these photographers will join you as part of our expedition team to Antarctica – and we can’t wait to see the images that come back from that trip!
