Hot on the heels of the successful wrap of the 2019-2020 Antarctica cruise season, Polar Latitudes is thrilled to announce our 2021-2022 voyage schedule. With itineraries that highlight the best that Antarctica has to offer, including stops in the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and throughout the Antarctic Peninsula. Come explore with us!

Along with the announcement of our new schedule comes a warm welcome to our new ship MS Seaventure. Offering superior comfort and effortless luxury, Seaventure features a 1-A Super ice class rating and all outside-facing staterooms, as well as a fitness center, heated salt-water pool, sauna, and dedicated Citizen Science Lab.

As the Southern Hemisphere springs to life, guests will be enthralled by voyages such as Adventures in Antarctica and Falkland Islands, S Georgia and Antarctica. The most magical way to spend the holiday season, our Holidays in Antarctica itinerary allows guests to discover the white continent’s striking shores and endless vistas while keeping the spirit on board festive and fun.

As the season carries on, Antarctica Revealed and Celebrating Antarctica take guests on an in-depth exploration of the wonders of Antarctica, celebrating the best that the peninsula has to offer. We again have the opportunity to reach 66°33’S and join the small band of explorers that can claim to have traveled that far south with our Crossing the Circle voyage, which will unquestionably be a popular choice.

There will also be a special voyage celebrating the 100th anniversary of Ernest Shackleton’s Final Quest. Guests will include luminaries such as Shackleton’s granddaughter Alexandra as well as Seb Coulthard, a member of the “Chasing Shackleton” team that retraced the voyage of the James Caird using exact replicas of the original gear, clothing and provisions. The voyage is sure to be hit with history enthusiasts, especially those fascinated by the Heroic Age of Exploration. Our onboard experts will offer presentations with special insight into the unique history of Antarctica, and the voyage will focus on visiting landing sites that hold historical value as part of famed explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton’s saga.

The special activities on this voyage are in addition to our regular programs including our Citizen Science program as well as lectures and guided excursions with experts in the fields of History, Ornithology, Marine Biology, Geology, and Photography.
