“Visiting Antarctica was overwhelming, but the photography program took it to a whole new level. I learned so much; and getting to learn from a professional photographer in such a magical place was unforgettable.”

Good to know

Some Q’s and A’s

Would This Replace the Rest of the Cool Stuff I Could Be Exploring on My Voyage?

Not at all. Same amount of off-ship excursions and landings, just with a greater photography focus. One exception: Kayakers go out the same time we do, so if that’s your thing, you’ll have to make a choice on those occasions.

Sounds Very Intensive. Is This for Professional-Level Photographers?

Not at all. The program is for any reasonably knowledgeable and dedicated photographer and is meant to be fun. Your enthusiasm is the main requirement!

Why Are There Multiple Prices for the Program?

Cost is based on length of voyage. For example, our Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica voyages are our longest trips by far, so the cost reflects that.

Can You Provide Camera or Processing Equipment if I Need It?

Sorry, no. Participants must bring all their own camera and processing equipment.

Can I Participate in Only Part of the Program?

For the best experience, we do recommend a voyage-long commitment to the program, but there’s no grade, and your time, as always, is your own.
